A white bison in your sky …
Lights at night
flood your knowledge,
Poor indian apache
intoxicated with power! …
How eagle furrowing the sky
you want to be able to fly
and in distant lands germinate
the old seed of your town…
Although your eagle in the night
wounded by fear
can´t start
with its own spear that desire …
you draw wings in that yearning,
with firm claw you reach
the white bison on your flight …
The ancestral wisdom
that you inherited
from your grandfather,
for your burning blood runs
the dignity of an entire people…
Never forget the freedom
what a sweet dream! …
the freedom to imagine
a white bison in your sky …
